HafenCity Hamburg GmbH considers corporate governance as an essential component in ensuring responsible and value-oriented company management. We therefore express our full support with the goals and purposes within the Hamburg Corporate Governance Codex (HCGC).

The Hamburg Corporate Governance Codex aims to:

• Initiate a continuous process of improving corporate governance in Hamburg public companies
• Increase the transparency of Hamburg public companies
• Increase trust in administrative and political decisions through greater public visibility and verifiability
• Ensure that the executive board commits to Hamburg’s sustainability goals and reports on them
• Set a standard for the interaction between shareholders, supervisory bodies, and the executive board, and ensure continuous improvement in business processes.

The HCGC is based on the German Corporate Governance Codex and forms the basis for the management, monitoring, and auditing of Hamburg public companies.
