The livable city of the future, tomorrow’s Hamburg, can only be created through close cooperation between civic society, the sciences and business. The central progress issues of health, new materials, climate and energy, mobility and digitalization can only be addressed cooperatively, and everyone must shoulder responsibility.

In HafenCity, Grasbook, Billebogen and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld, HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is responsible for four major future initiatives in Hamburg each with their own particular logic. And yet these future spaces are joint areas for technical and social progress, particular with regard to the City of Hamburg’s regional innovation strategy. Here a contribution is being made to deciding how we want and will be able to live in future.

This vivid picture of Hamburg’s future can be encountered on the City of Hamburg stand at MIPIM 2022 (Stand R8.B20), to be held in Cannes from Tuesday, March 15, 2022 to Friday, March 18, 2022.
